Bill Renye oversees all of the investment research activity at Marciano Wealth Advisors and provides strategic oversight of the investment decision-making within our managed portfolios.
Bill's very critical role in the firm is to diligently gather investment data both internally utilizing our proprietary systems, as well as to seek information externally from industry sources. In addition, Bill acts as a liaison between our internal research efforts and the research department of Cambridge Investment Research, to provide carefully measured investment solutions and to monitor those solutions within our asset allocation models.
Further, Bill's role is to explore and integrate macroeconomic themes and to represent those themes within our portfolios on a continuous basis.
Bill is a graduate of Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he received a Bachelors of Science degree in Finance.
Bill has served as a Portfolio Accounting Assistant with Bysis Investment Services where he developed an interest and understanding of the pricing and cost structures of investment portfolios and of the mechanics of their holdings, distribution methodology and share price calculation, and utilizes this experience in evaluating the competitiveness of investment funds for our clients.
Most recently Bill's career has flourished while working at Rittenhouse Asset Management, a subsidiary of Nuveen Investments. There, Bill began his career as a Portfolio Accountant reconciling both private and institutional accounts. Later, Bill served as a Client Relationship Specialist and advanced to become Head Trading Liaison within the Institutional Department with experience in trade execution of both equity and fixed income instruments. This breadth of experience positioned Bill to finish his career at Rittenhouse as a Junior Research Analyst where he performed extensive research and analysis within the firm which contributed to the firm's asset selection process.
Currently, Bill holds the Series 7 securities license.
Bill lives in the western suburbs with his wife Allison and children.
