Rob Walper is a partner in the prestigious law firm of Fox, Rothschild, LLP, and has acted as a trusted resource for our firm and our clients in providing exceptional insight into the complex realm of corporate and estate tax law.

Rob’s practice involves general corporate and real estate matters, including tax and business planning in connection with proposed commercial transactions. Specifically, Rob has substantial experience in such matters as buying and selling businesses, franchise law, succession planning, securities, entity selection and restructuring, representing start-up and emerging businesses, non-profit corporations, intellectual property and technology, real estate acquisitions and leases, tax-free exchanges, federal and state tax issues, computer contracts, partnership issues and financing and private capital transactions.

He is a frequent lecturer on corporate, real estate and tax matters, as well as on issues involving limited liability companies and representation of emerging companies.

In 2005, Rob was named a “Pennsylvania Rising Star” in a joint project of Law & Politics Magazine and Philadelphia Magazine, and was also voted “One of the Best” attorneys in the 2005 Reader’s Choice Awards of the Reporter newspaper. He is a member of the Pennsylvania and Montgomery Bar Associations and serves as a member of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors of the Suburban Horsham-Willow Grove Chamber of Commerce and serves as the President of the Suburban Chamber of Commerce Foundation.

Rob is listed as a registered bond counsel in the Bond Buyer’s “Redbook,” and regularly serves as bond counsel, issuer’s counsel and swap counsel of record in municipal tax-free financing transactions.

Rob received his LL.M. in Taxation from Villanova University School of Law in 1999. A 1994 magna cum laude graduate of Temple University School of Law, he was awarded the Terrence Klasky Award and the Rhea L. Liebman Award. Rob received his B.B.A. in Finance from Temple University in 1991, graduating magna cum laude, and earning election to two national honor societies.
